If you need help with MOT Check Now, you can email us at the contact page or use the form below. This page explains what we can help with, what is outside our control and how to make common requests.
What we can help with
- Problems with a Full Vehicle Report, such as a missing download link or a file that will not open.
- Refund and replacement requests (see our refund policy).
- Stopping or changing MOT reminder emails.
- Questions about how our checkers work, for example the MOT check or mileage check.
- Reporting an error or a broken page on this site.
- Data access, correction or deletion requests under our privacy policy.
What we cannot do
- We cannot change DVSA or DVLA records. If an MOT result, mileage reading or tax status is wrong, it must be corrected with the DVSA or DVLA.
- We cannot take payments for MOT tests or book them. Use a garage or the official GOV.UK service.
- We cannot give out keeper or owner details. We do not hold them.
- We cannot give legal, financial or mechanical advice about a particular vehicle.
How to make a request
Refund or replacement report
Email the contact page with your order number, the email address used and a short description of the problem.
Delete my data or unsubscribe
Every reminder email has an unsubscribe link. To ask us to delete your data, email the contact page from the address concerned, or quote your order number. We keep some records, such as order and payment records, for accounting purposes, as explained in the privacy policy.
Report a problem with a result
Send us the registration number, what you saw and what you expected. We cannot alter official data, but we can check whether the fault is on our side.
Response times
We read every message and reply as soon as we reasonably can. We do not run a phone line or live chat. For privacy requests, we respond within the timescale the law requires. Including your order number and registration number helps us help you sooner.
Before you write
Many questions are answered on the site already. If you want to understand a result, the guides explain topics such as how to read MOT history and what MOT advisories mean. If you are unsure whether a vehicle needs a test, see our guide to MOT exempt vehicles.
When you write, tell us which page or tool you were using, the registration number if it is relevant, and any error message you saw. Please do not send card numbers, passwords or other sensitive details by email. We will never ask for them.
Complaints
If something has gone wrong, tell us what happened and what you would like us to do. We will look into it and reply with what we can do to put it right. Your legal rights are not affected by using this process.
